Hilarious video by Ad exec’s in the 1960s, satirizing their own ads. Originally comes from this Sociological Images post
This video of a woman bravely standing up to a subway pervert made my day. I think that the subway is the closest thing to the internet that people experience IRL. There’s a sense of anonymity and proximity to others that some people just exploit to be as disgusting and unconcerned with consequences as can be. But this woman’s message is spot on: sexual harassment isn’t okay anywhere, pal.
I want to be her, please let me have 1% of her bravery!
Go her!

Yoko Ono - Cut Piece
1965 Happening Art Piece.
Told viewers to come on stage and cut a single item of clothing from her in one cut. Although not many followed the rules of the single cut, her job was to keep this calm and collected face. But as you can see, as one guy proceeds to make a series of cuts on her bra straps they audience gets upset, yet does nothing. She put into play the issues of sexism, and war, but most importantly the issues of trust in a bigger humanity.
This one doesn’t even need explaining. There’s no way around how disgusting and disrespectful this is. It’s right there, plain as day. In essence: Fuck BMW.
